Contrada - Racing for the Divine Blessing

For 400 years, 17 neighborhoods in Siena, Italy, risk life and limb to compete in the world’s oldest horse race through the streets of Siena, in The Palio di Siena.  The 17 city districts (“Contrade”) have competed against one another for 4 centuries in rivalries in what most consider the greatest and most dangerous horse race in the world.  Heeltap! with unparalleled access, will go behind the scenes to tell the untold story of the “Sienese Game of Thrones.”
